Florida summer already feels extra hot this year, so I fell through my own private portal to escape to Florida Spring country, using Postcard Cabins Gilchrist Springs, just 2 hours north of Tampa Bay, as my home base.
This is the perfect location for a mermaid-inspired getaway because within just a few minutes drive of my tiny cabin, I was able to visit 3 springs and a waterfall! (Yes, Florida has waterfalls).
The tiny cabin has everything you need for your stay like linens and cooking supplies, a private toilet and shower inside the cabin, refrigerator, and the absolute must have in Florida summer… A/C.
