Campfire Cooking: Rosemary Vanilla Latte

We recently hosted creator, Hailey Falk, at Postcard Mount Adams outside of Portland to explore the beauty of the area. She took some time during her mornings to get creative and used the Kuju Coffee packets in our cabins to craft a delicious coffee recipe, perfect for cozy escapes to nature this fall.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Kuju pour over coffees
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • 2 tbsp vanilla syrup
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions:

  1. Simmer milk in small pot on medium-low heat for about 3 minutes
  2. Add 2 rosemary springs, vanilla syrup, and honey to milk and simmer for 5 more minutes
  3. Unwrap Kuju packet and place onto mug
  4. Pour ~8 ounces of boiling water over Kuju coffee
  5. Add steamed milk to mug with coffee
  6. Stir and serve!

How will you be enjoying some sweet moments in nature as the summer winds down?

As summer winds down, I am exploring new hikes in the Pacific Northwest to witness all of the changes that the seasons bring. I am excited for all elements of Fall – the colors of the leaves, the bird songs, and the crisper weather.

How did you recharge on your escape to nature?

During my stay, we spent ample time lounging next to the large window looking out into the tall trees. We spent time away from our screens to walk among the trees, play card games, and have great conversations.
